The proposal includes constructing new <br />classrooms, a multi-purpose/media area, and a storage facility. An interior renovation of <br />current classrooms, restrooms and kitchen space would also occur. Longer range plans <br />include a future expansion of the campus on both the north and south sides. <br />1.2 The conditional use permit process (Section 1013) allows the City to consider <br />compatibility with adjoining properties; impacts on traffic, public facilities, and property <br />values; impact on the general public health, safety, and welfare; and compatibility with <br />the City's comprehensive plan. The Commission voted (6-0) to recommend approval of the <br />request, subject to conditions.
