Directional Signs: Directional signs may be incorporated into a development <br />including information such as traffic directions, house numbers, management <br />office location ar other information necessary to direct persons to facilities or <br />areas within the development; provided however, that such signs shall not exceed <br />four and one-half (4 1/2) square feet in size and six feet (6') in height and are not <br />closer than one foot (1') from a public street right of way. Off site directional <br />signs are prohibited. <br />7 <br />E <br />Flags <br />Garage/Yard Sale Signs: The sign shall only be displayed during the term of the <br />sale and must be removed when the sale is completed. <br />9. Holiday signs may be displayed over a period not to exceed a total of sixty (60) <br />days per calendar year. The aggregate total area of such signs shall not exceed <br />fifty (50) square feet. <br />10. Political signs to the extent that the following criteria are met: <br />a. In years when a state general election is held, political signs may be posted <br />from August 1 until ten (10) days following the state general election. Any <br />such signs must be removed by those responsible for their being posted. <br />b. In years when no state general election is held, if there is a primary for any <br />office, political signs for all offices may be posted no more than twenty <br />one (21) days before the primary election. When there is no primary for <br />any office, such signs may be posted not more than twenty one (21) days <br />before the general election. All such signs must be removed by those <br />responsible for their being posted within five (5) days following the <br />general election. Said political signs shall not exceed twelve (12) square <br />feet gross area. <br />c. <br />� <br />Political signs shall be set back at least fifteen feet (15') from the outside <br />edge of any street or back of curb of all city and county streets. <br />Political signs shall not be placed so as to cause a hazard to public safety. <br />-12- <br />
