� <br />Draft Resolution Attachment G <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VARIANCE BOARD OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the lst day of August, <br />2007, at 5:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: ; <br />Variance Board Member introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />VB RESOLUTION NO. 65 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO §1004 (RESIDENCE <br />DISTRICTS) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR DAVID MARKS, 984 <br />LYDIA DRIVE (PF07-040) <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Marks has requested a VARIANCE to § 1004 (Residence <br />Districts) of the Roseville City Code; and <br />as: <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 984 Lydia Drive, and legally described <br />NORTH HILL ADDITION LOT 22 BLOCK 1 <br />PIN: 02-29-23-24-0018 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.016 (Driveway Setbacks) requires minimum side yard <br />setback of 5 feet for Driveway; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mr. Marks seeks to expand the driveway such that it would <br />encroach 3 feet into the required side yard setback; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present <br />and support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City <br />Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to <br />APPROVE a 3-foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.016 of the City code, subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. The driveway must maintain a side yard setback of at least 2 feet; <br />2. The impervious coverage on the property must comply with Code <br />requirements. This may be achieved by expanding the pavement consistent <br />with the applicant's previously-submitted site plan (Attachment E), except <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
