—,
8 May 2007
Midas
Attn: Joe Stranik
2168 Snelling Avenue
Roseville, MN 55113

RE: Conditional Use Permit Amendment approval
Dear Mr. Stranik,

As you know, the Roseville City Council approved your requested CUP Amendment which
affirmed the existing automobile service station use and eliminated the necessity of receiving
Council approval for the paint colors on the building's fascia. City Code requirements would still
have you submit future plans to repaint the fascia for administrative approval from the
Community Development Department, but at least these approvals would not require Council
action.
With respect to the building signs you plan to add and/or replace, once you have the relevant
measurements for your preferred signage, submit those to Thomas Paschke as you would for a
typical sign permit. (If Thomas already has that information, I'll let him know that he can
continue reviewing them.) If the proposal falls within Code requirements, the permit may simply
be issued; if a variance is required, we can tackle that process next.
Should you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to call me at 651-792-7073.
Sincerely,
CITY OF ROSEVILLE
Bryan Lloyd
Associate Planner
City of Roseville Community Development Department
2660 Civic Center Drive :• Roseville, Minnesota 55113
651-792-7005 o TDD 651-792-7399 ❖ www.ci.roseville.mn.us
