The temporary use began in May 2007 and is proposed to extend into 6 October 2007. 8 PROJECT REVIEW TIMELINE 9 Application submitted: April 16, 2007; determined complete: May 15, 2007 10 60-Day review deadline: July 13, 2007 11 Planning Commission public hearing & recommendation: June 6, 2007 � 2 Anticipated City Council action: June 18, 2006 � 3 2.0 �� 2.1 15 16 3.0 SUMMARY OF STAFF RECOMMENDATION The Community Development Department recommends denial of the INTERIM USE PERMIT request by Robert DeLeo. PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION 17 3.1 The Planning Commission reviewed the application at the public hearing on June 6, 2007 18 and passed a motion (6-0) to recommend APPROVAL of the requested INTERIM USE 19 PERMIT, subject to certain conditions. 20 4.0 SUMMARY OF SUGGESTED ACTION 21 4.1 ADOPT A RESOLUTION DENYING the requested INTERIM USE PERMIT (see 22 Section 8 for detailed action). 23 5.0 BACKGROUND 24 5.1 Mr. DeLeo owns the property at 280 Minnesota Avenue; he recently razed the former 25 accessory structure and replaced it with a new detached garage, and he plans to build a 26 new home in the same general location as the former residence.
