C� <br />CJ <br />REQUEST FOR VARIANCE BOARD ACTION <br />DATE: 6/6/2007 <br />ITEM NO: 4a <br />Department Approval: <br />BL/TP <br />Agenda Section: <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Item Description: Ronald and Susan Hornbaker seek VARIANCES to §1012 (General <br />Requirements) to allow a fence that exceeds City Code requirements on <br />the residential lot at 2994 Aldine Street (PF07-025). <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION <br />1.1 Mr. and Mrs. Hornbaker seek variances to � 1012 (General Requirements) of the Gity <br />Code to allow the construction of a fence greater than 6.5 feet tall on their residential <br />property and a fence greater than 4 feet tall in the front yard. <br />PROJECT REVIEW HISTORY <br />• Application submitted and determined complete: May 2, 2007 <br />• Sixty-day review deadline: June 29, 2007 <br />• Project report recommendation: June 6, 2007 <br />• Anticipated Variance Board action: June 6, 2007 <br />2.0 SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATION <br />2.1 The Planning Division recommends approval of a 1.5-foot VARIANCE to § 1012.02B(3) <br />(Side Yard Encroachments) and a 4-foot VARIANCE to § 1012.02B(2) (Front Yard <br />Encroachments) of the City Code for the residential property located at 2994 Aldine <br />Street.
