<br />streets June 7 observed two
<br />men. When the men saw the
<br />officer, they took off on a dead
<br />run, ignoring commands to
<br />stop. Figuring they would
<br />catch the suspects now and
<br />find out why they were run-
<br />ning later, officers called in a
<br />K-9 partner. The dog brought
<br />down the men, ages 18 and
<br />20, who had been drinking
<br />underage. The suspects were
<br />booked at the Ramsey County
<br />Jail on the more serious
<br />charge of fleeing police.
<br />- A homeless woman
<br />knocked the air conditioner
<br />out of the window of a trailer
<br />in the 2400 block of Rice
<br />Street at 4 a.m. June 12 and
<br />crawled through, locking her-
<br />self in the bathroom. The resi-
<br />dent called the sheriff. The
<br />44-year-old woman, who said
<br />she had a relationship with
<br />the occupant five years ago,
<br />was booked at the Ramsey
<br />County Jail on a felony bur-
<br />glary charge.
