Nordling.
In your application materials, you indicate that a site plan is enclosed along with the narrative and front elevation drawing,
but for my purposes in re-ieving the applicarion I find a"floor plan" rather than a"site plan". The difference is that the
floor plan ill show a detailed draving of how the interior spaces are delineated, vhereas a site plan shows hov the
building relates to the rest of the lot. In oYder to prepare a proper review of your proposal, I need reasonably precise
measurements of things like the proposed building setbacks from property lines, proposed dri-eway expansion, and the
location and size of existing sheds, patios, etc.
Here's an example of what I mean. From the information I have available to me, it appears that the fxont right corner of the
garage might only be 15 feet (or less) from the side property line. If the walls of your garage addition will be 14 feet closer
to the propert line, the new eares vill certainly etend onto your neighbor's propert. If this is true, there's no way City
staff can support your proposal. It is for this reason that it behoves you to provide as much detail as you can in a site plan
that is drawn to a scale (e.g., 1" on the paper = 20' on the ground) that can easily be measured. I can help you prepare the
outline of our propert if that would be helpful; just let me know.
Best regards,
Bryan Lloyd
Associate City Planner
City of Roseville
651-792-7073
bryan.11oyd cr,ci.roseville.mn.us
5/31 /2007
