� <br />9 November 2007 <br />Dear Ms. Bastyr, <br />��� <br />�� <br />Your neighbors at 2989, 2992, 2998, 3006, 3009 & 3010 Victoria Street will receive a copy of <br />the letter below notifying them of your plans to build a front porch, which will encroach into the <br />required front yard setback, and inviting them to participate in the public process of commenting <br />on your proposaL In case you haven't already spoken with these neighbors about your plans, we <br />encourage applicants to do so. If we receive letters, phone calls, or emails from these households <br />in support of your proposal, the required 10-day appeal period following the decision of the <br />Community Development Director will be eliminated; if the setback permit is approved, the <br />building inspector may then issue the necessary building permit as soon as they have been <br />approved. You are, of course, encouraged to attend the hearing, but it is not required. <br />You are invited to attend and participate in the Roseville Development Review Committee's <br />Setback Permit Hearing on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. in the Roseville City <br />Hall Hawthorne Room — in the lower level, adjacent to the Engineering Department. <br />Deborah Bastyr and Shawn Hartmann, 3007 Victoria Street, seek approval of a 5-foot FRONT <br />YARD SETBACK PERMIT to build a front porch; the proposed addition would encroach 5 <br />feet into the required front yard setback. <br />The Setback Permit process allows nearby property owners to comment on the proposal in <br />writing and/or at the meeting. Should you have any comments or questions about this Setback <br />Permit application, please feel free to email me at brvan lloyd(a�ci.roseville.mn.us or call me at <br />651-792-7073 or attend the DRC's Administrative Hearing on Thursday, November 15, 2007 <br />at 3:30 p.m. <br />Attached for your information is a copy of the Setback Permit application and the proposed <br />plans.
