� <br />0 <br />Draft Resolution Attachment E <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VARIANCE BOARD OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 3rd day of October, <br />2007, at 5:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: ; <br />Variance Board Member introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />VB RESOLUTION NO. 70 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO §1004 (RESIDENCE <br />DISTRICTS) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR CHRISTINE MUELLER, <br />407 NORTH MCCARRONS BOULEVARD (PF07-056) <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Mueller has requested a VARIANCE to § 1004 (Residence <br />Districts); and <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 407 North McCarrons Boulevard, and is <br />legally described as: <br />MCCARRON'S ADDITION, LOT 1 BLOCK 6 <br />PIN: 13-29-23-24-0011 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.016 (Residential Setbacks) requires a 30-foot principal <br />structure setback from a side/rear property line adjacent to a public right-of-way; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Mueller seeks to construct a principal structure addition 22 feet <br />from the northern property line adjacent to the Cohansey Boulevard right-of-way, <br />requiring a 8-foot variance; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.016 (Residential Setbacks) requires a 30-foot principal <br />structure setback from a front property line; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Mueller seeks to construct a principal structure addition 14 feet <br />from the front property line, requiring a 16-foot variance, which distance is consistent <br />with the legal nonconforming setback of the existing principal structure; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present <br />and support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City <br />Code; <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
