J <br />�J <br />�! <br />WHEREAS, Section 703.04 (Driveway Standards) of the City Code requires a 5- <br />foot driveway setback from a side property line; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Tamura seeks expand the driveway to a distance of 2 feet from <br />the side property line, requiring a 3-foot variance; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present and <br />support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to <br />APPROVE a 3-foot VARIANCE to Section 1012.01 B of the City Code and a 3-foot <br />VARIANCE to Section 703.04 of the City Code, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The size and location of the proposed addition shall be consistent with the <br />plans reviewed with this application and shall not reduce the side yard setback <br />to less than 2 feet, and; <br />2. Any expansion of the driveway shall remain at least 2 feet from the side <br />property line and shall not exceed 26 feet in width at the front property line, <br />and; <br />3. Pursuant to § 1013.03 of the City Code, the VARIANCE shall expire 6 months <br />after the approval date if a building permit is not issued. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Member Boerigter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />Boerigter, Doherty, and Martinson; <br />and none voted against; <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
