--`.

WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present and
support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to
APPROVE a 1,520-square-foot VARIANCE to Section 1026.26 of the City code, subject
to the following conditions:
The size and location of the proposed improvements shall be consistent with
the plans reviewed with this application except that the total impervious
surface area on the property shall not exceed 47% of the lot area (about 3,260
square feet);
2. Storm water runoff shall be reduced to the level consistent with 25%
imprevious coverage; depending on the soils and slopes on the property, such
reduction could be accomplished by directing rain gutters toward the interior
of the lot, installing and maintaining a"rain garden" filtration basin, or some
combination of these or other measures as approved by the City Engineer.
Building permits will not be issued until the City Engineer has approved the
storm water mitigation plans, and
3. Pursuant to § 1013.03 of the City Code, the VARIANCE shall expire 6 months
after the approval date if a fence permit is not issued.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Martinson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor:
Boerigter, Bakeman, and Martinson;
and none voted against;
WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
Page 2 of 3
