Basic service consists of over- <br />the-air broadcast stations, public, <br />educational and governmen� access <br />channels, and any other programming <br />Comcast chooses to add to its basic tier <br />of service. The Commission does not <br />regulate Ihe rates for any programming <br />not carried on ihe basic service tier, <br />including (but not limited to) <br />programming offered on a pay-per- <br />channel or pay-per-program basis. <br />Under federel law, the rates For all <br />programming not included in the basic <br />servica tier are unregulaled. <br />Pursuant to ihe Commission's rate <br />orders, Comcast may not charge any <br />rates for basic service, equipment and <br />installation that are higher than the <br />maximum permitted rates set torth in i�s <br />March 1, 2007, rate filing, unless those <br />rates are first filed with and approved <br />by ihe Commission.
