'"� <br />� <br />March 24, 2008 City Council meeting minutes <br />Consider Request by Michael Schueller, in conjunction with propert,y owners <br />Catherine and Riaz Hussain, for approval of an interim User Permit to allow a deli <br />and catering facility at 1901 Lexington Avenue (PF08-008) <br />Associate Planner Bryan Lloyd provided a brief summary of the request, as detailed in <br />the project repori dated March 24, 2008, providing a history of the project through the <br />Planning Commission and City Council review process, public comment, and subsequent <br />City Attorney recommendations. <br />Discussion included whether the proposed actions should be separate or combined in one <br />action, based on transparency of those actions. <br />Mr. Lloyd noted that, discussions on a staff level indicated that removing parking <br />shouldn't be a requirement only for this use, but any future use would be complicated by <br />the parking remaining. <br />Michael Schueller, Applicant <br />Mr. Schueller assured Councilmembers that parking would be removed. <br />Mayor Klausing noted, for the record, receipt of written comment from FAST — Foes of <br />Autumn Street Traffic, dated March 5, 2008, from Patrick Schmidt, l 140 Autumn Street, <br />provided as a bench handout. <br />Roe moved, Pust seconded, ordering compliance with Resolution 94 ] 4, requiring the <br />removal of the existing parking areas adjacent to Autumn Street, prior to any reuse or <br />redevelopment of the property, based on the determination of the Public Works Director <br />that the use of these parking areas would adversely affect the flow of traffic in the area, <br />amended to emphasize that the parking area creates a traffic hazard and interferes with <br />the flow of traffic and must be removed. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Ihlan; Roe; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />Roe moved, Pust seconded, adoption of Resolution No. l 0610 entitled, "A Resolution <br />Approving an Interim Use Permit in Accordance with Roseville City Code, Section <br />1012.09, for Michael Schueller and Catherine and Riaz Hussain, 1901 Lexington Avenue <br />(PF08-008)." <br />Mayor Klausing expressed appreciation to the applicant for their patience and working <br />with staff and wished them well in their business venture. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Ihlan; Roe; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />
