'"� � March 24, 2008 City Council meeting minutes Consider Request by Michael Schueller, in conjunction with propert,y owners Catherine and Riaz Hussain, for approval of an interim User Permit to allow a deli and catering facility at 1901 Lexington Avenue (PF08-008) Associate Planner Bryan Lloyd provided a brief summary of the request, as detailed in the project repori dated March 24, 2008, providing a history of the project through the Planning Commission and City Council review process, public comment, and subsequent City Attorney recommendations. Discussion included whether the proposed actions should be separate or combined in one action, based on transparency of those actions. Mr. Lloyd noted that, discussions on a staff level indicated that removing parking shouldn't be a requirement only for this use, but any future use would be complicated by the parking remaining. Michael Schueller, Applicant Mr. Schueller assured Councilmembers that parking would be removed. Mayor Klausing noted, for the record, receipt of written comment from FAST — Foes of Autumn Street Traffic, dated March 5, 2008, from Patrick Schmidt, l 140 Autumn Street, provided as a bench handout. Roe moved, Pust seconded, ordering compliance with Resolution 94 ] 4, requiring the removal of the existing parking areas adjacent to Autumn Street, prior to any reuse or redevelopment of the property, based on the determination of the Public Works Director that the use of these parking areas would adversely affect the flow of traffic in the area, amended to emphasize that the parking area creates a traffic hazard and interferes with the flow of traffic and must be removed. Roe moved, Pust seconded, adoption of Resolution No. l 0610 entitled, "A Resolution Approving an Interim Use Permit in Accordance with Roseville City Code, Section 1012.09, for Michael Schueller and Catherine and Riaz Hussain, 1901 Lexington Avenue (PF08-008)." Mayor Klausing expressed appreciation to the applicant for their patience and working with staff and wished them well in their business venture. Roll Call Ayes: Pust; Ihlan; Roe; and Klausing.
