My interest is in preserving the decent quality of life that a11
Roseville residents currently enjoy.
Pawn shops are havens for stolen property. It is clear that the city recoqnizes this
potential, that there is a strong likelihood of a crime component that comes with pawn
shops. I know that the city code recognizes this and requires pawn shops to be part of a
database system in conjunction with the police department. Sounds like this will place an
additional drain on the Roseville police department. Is the city prepared and situated to
take this on?
" 25
