.� <br />Draft Resolution Attachment J <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />� Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />z Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 28`h day of April 2008, at 6:00 p.m. <br />3 The following members were present: ; <br />n and was absent. <br />s Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />s RESOLUTION NO. <br />� A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT IN ACCORDANCE <br />a WITH §1005A15 AND §1013.01 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR ROSEWOOD <br />s CENTER PARTNERS AT 2189 SNELLING AVENUE (PF08-014) <br />�o WHEREAS, Rosewood Center Partners owns the property at 2181-2195 Snelling <br />,1 Avenue; and <br />� z WHEREAS, the subject property is legally described as: <br />13 Section 9 Township 29 Range 23 excluding the N 80 feet and excluding the S 183 feet and <br />i a excluding the N 30 feet of the S 213 feet of the W 295.83 feet and excluding the triangular <br />� s parcel described as beginning at a point 33 feet W and 233 feet N of the SE corner, thence S <br />is 20 feet parallel with the E line, thence W 20 feet parallel with the S line, thence Northerly <br />� i to the point of beginning; the following E 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 <br />�s (subject to Highway and easement) in Section 9 Township 29 Range 23 <br />� s PIN: 09-29-23-44-0242 <br />2o WHEREAS, through the applicant, Mark Smith, the property owners seek to allow a <br />z� pawn shop, which is a conditionally permitted use in the applicable General Business Zoning <br />zz District; and <br />zs WHEREAS, The Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />24 requested CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, voting 5-1 to recommend approval of the request <br />zs based on public comment and the comments and findings of the staff report dated April 2, 2008; <br />z6 and <br />z� WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council has determined that approval of the requested <br />z� CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT will not adversely affect conditions on, or value of, nearby <br />�s properties and will not compromise the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of <br />:io Roseville; <br />s� NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to APPROVE <br />3z the request for a CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT in accordance with Section § 1013.01 of the <br />3s Roseville City Code, <br />_ Page 1 of 3 <br />—� <br />
