� _\ <br />: � �', <br />L/ <br />�i <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, was held on the 16`� day of June, 2008 at 6:00 <br />p.m. <br />The following members were present: Willmus, Pust, Roe, and Klausing; <br />and Ihlan was absent. <br />Council Member Roe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10636 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INTER�M USE PERMIT <br />IN ACCORDANCE WITH §1012.09 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />FOR MERITEX ENTERPRISES AND THE FAMILY MOTOR COACH ASSOCIATION <br />AT 2285 WALNUT STREET (PF08-021) <br />WHEREAS, the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA), in cooperation with Meritex <br />Enterprises, property owner of Highcrest Park, has requested an INTERIM USE PERMIT in <br />accordance with § 1012.09 of the Roseville City Code on property addressed at 2255 — 2375 <br />Walnut Street, 2256 — 2350 Highcrest Road, and 2520 Terminal Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant with the support of the property owner seeks to temporarily <br />use the Highcrest Park parking lot as a staging area for families attending the national <br />convention at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants seek to install temporary signs directing families from <br />Interstate 35W to the Highcrest property and from the Highcrest site to the Minnesota State <br />Fairgrounds grounds at 6 specific intersections in Roseville; and <br />WHEREAS, The Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the <br />requested INTERIM USE PERMIT, voting 6-0 to recommend approval of the request based on <br />the comments and findings of the staff report dated June 4, 2008; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to APPROVE <br />the request by Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA), in cooperation with Meritex <br />Enterprises for an INTERIM USE PERMIT in accordance with Section § 1012.09 of the <br />Roseville City Code, subject to the following conditions; <br />1. Staging, holding, and/or overnight stays of motor coach vehicles shall be allowed <br />on the Highcrest site from July 11 thru July 13, 2008, and parked in the 161 <br />parking spaces identified on the attached map. <br />2. Signs shall be placed at the prescribed locations and with the perscribed language <br />as identified in the attachment dated May 5, 2008. <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
