��J� <br />� <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION & REVIEW PROCESS <br />General ( <br />Su M Tu <br />General Concept applications are <br />due on first Friday of a month. <br />__ . __ _ __ _ <br />Example Calendar <br />� ..:,fi�' i_ i)1liii.G>+�U7ti VR <br />sl�,^ `:¢�4r �1��rclncsda=� _,��*!ie <br />The City Council will take action <br />during its regular meeting on the <br />fourth Mondav of the month. <br />Finai PUD applications are due <br />on first F'riday of a month after <br />General Concept Approval. <br />The Citv Council will take final <br />action during its meeting on the <br />fourth Monday of the month. <br />Overview: Planned Unit Development (PUD) applications are made in three stages: Sketch Plan, <br />General Concept, and Final. Applications for General Concept approval will be reviewed by City <br />staff and discussed in a public hearing by the Planning Commission, which meets on the first <br />Wednesday of each month, before final action is taken by the City Council at its regular meeting on <br />the fourth Monday later that month. Final PUD applications will be reviewed by City staff to ensure <br />consistency with preliminary approvals before being finally approved by the City Council. <br />Application Deadline: PUD applications must be received by the close-of-business on the first <br />Friday of each month. General Concept applications received after this date cannot be heard at <br />the Planning Commission meeting of the following month; likewise, Final PUD applications <br />received after the first Friday of a month cannot be heard by the City Council until a later date. <br />Minnesota State Law requires that a decision be issued for each application within 60 days of the <br />submission of a complete application. <br />Submission Requirements: The attached application forms must be completed and submitted in <br />their proper sequence with all requested materials; failure to submit all application materials may <br />delay the review process described below. Note that a community open house must be held prior <br />to submission of a General Concept application and that a summary of this meeting must be <br />included with the General Concept application materials. <br />Initial Review: Applications will be reviewed for completeness by Community Development <br />Department staff, and a determination of completeness will be provided to the applicant in the form <br />Planned Unit Development Application & Review Process: Page 1 of 2 <br />._ �... <br />
