r.
June 20, 2008
Dear Ms. Smith,

; `'
  _r
.cr
r.t
Your neighbors at l 952, ] 953, 1961 and 1974 Midland Hills Road will receive a copy of the
letter below notifying them of your plans for your front entry addition, which will encroach into
the required front yard setback, and inviting them to participate in the public process of
commenting on your proposal. If all of these households indicate their support, the required 10-
day appeal period following the decision of the Community Development Director will be
eliminated; if the setback permit is approved, the building inspector may then issue the necessary
building permit as soon as it has, been approved. You (or your builder) are, of course, encouraged
to attend the hearing, but it is not required.
You are invited to attend and participate in the Roseville Setback Permit Review Committee's
(SPRC) Setback Permit Hearing on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the Roseville
City Hall Hawthorne Room — in the lower level, adjacent to the Engineering Department.
June Smith, 1940 Midland Hills Road, seek approval of a 7-FOOT FRONT YARD SETBACK
PET to accommodate a front entry which would encroach up to 7 feet into the required 40-
foot front yard setback.
The Setback Permit process allows nearby property owners to comment on the proposal in
writing and/or at the meeting. Should you have any comments or questions about this Setback
Permit application, please feel free to email me at b arlloyd(aci.roseville.mn.us or call me at
651-792-7073 or attend the SPRC's Administrative Hearing on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at
3:00 p.m.
Enclosed for your information is a copy of the proposed plans; the covered entry is highlighted in
pink. If the Setback Permit request is approved, a building permit can be issued ten (10) days
after the decision unless an appeal is filed before then.
Sincerely,
CITY OF ROSEVILLE
Bryan Lloyd
Associate City Planner
City of Roseville Community Development Department
2660 Civic Center Drive •3 Roseville, Minnesota 55113
651-792-7005 :• www.ci.roseville.mn.us/development
