This property line has been
ignored tor approximately U years, due to the tact that lot 4 has been vacant and owned and
used by the property owner of lot 3. We have requested to change the existing property line
to accommodate the existing home (built m 1 y5y) as well as a new home to be built on lot 4.
Lots 3 and 4 combined are approx. 2 acres. The existing home on lot 3 has had the benefit of
lot 4 being vacant, and has used lot 4 as additional green space. l he exishng lot line is not
conducive for the existing home or the proposed new home to be constructed in 2008.
Afer much consideration with both an arclutect and a landscape architect, we have
concluded that this property line should be corrected to meet the needs of both property
owners tor the reasons stated:
1- Proposed new property line would be parallel with the existing home.
"Z- lt would eliminate wasted property in the N; corner of Iot 4 that would be added to
lot 3, creating more functional space for both lots.
3- Yrotection ot many mature wlute pines and spruce trees.
4- The proposed property line would give both lots a more usable space and the property
line would be more parallel with the north and south property lines of these lots
As you can see on the diagram, these lots are in a cul-de-sac, which creates this hardship. W e
feel this hardship was created many years ago. The original sub-division did not ta.ke into
consideration these challenges when lot 3 and lot 4 were plotted.
