� <br />July 22, 2008 <br />Dear Mr. and Mrs. Cook, <br />�� <br />-� <br />— <br />Your neighbors at 1126, 1127, 1134, 1142, and 1143 Karyl Place will receive a copy of the letter <br />below notifying them of your plans for your driveway expansion, which will encroach into the <br />required side yard setback, and inviting them to participate in the public process of commenting <br />on your proposal. In case you haven't already spoken with these neighbors about your plans, we <br />encourage applicants to do so. If we receive letters, phone calls, or emails from each of these <br />households in support of your proposal, the required 10-day appeal period following the decision <br />of the Community Development Director will be eliminated; if the setback permit is approved, <br />the building inspector may then issue the necessary permit as soon as it has been approved. You <br />are, of course, encouraged to attend the hearing, but it is not required. <br />You are invited to attend and participate in the Roseville Setback Permit Review Committee's <br />(SPRC) Setback Permit Hearing on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the Roseville <br />City Hall Hawthorne Room — in the lower level, adjacent to the Engineering Department. <br />Earl and Helen Cook, 1133 Karyl Place, seek approval of a 3-FOOT SIDE YARD SETBACK <br />PE��T to accommodate a driveway expansion that would encroach 3 feet into the required 5- <br />foot side yard setback. <br />The Setback Permit process allows nearby property owners to comment on the proposal in <br />writing and/or at the meeting.
