r <br />_ � � �� �\ <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Gerold Stibal seek to expand the existing elevated, attached <br />deck such that it would encroach an additional 8 feet into the required 30-foot setback, <br />requiring a 20-foot variance; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present and <br />support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to <br />APPROVE a 20'/-foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.016 of the City code, subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />The southernmost extent of the deck addition shall remain a minimum of <br />9.75 feet from the rear property line; <br />b Neither shall the deck be enclosed nor shall a freestanding enclosure be <br />situated on the deck; and <br />c The variance shall expire 6 months of the approval date if a building <br />permit is not issued, pursuant to § 1013.03 of the City Code. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Member Boerigter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />Members Best, Boerigter, and Doherty; <br />and none voted against. <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
