Cancer Patients per 1000 <br />Cancer accounts for nearly one-quarter of deaths in the United States, exceeded only by heart <br />diseases, according to the American Cancer Society. It is estimated that about 1.4 million new <br />cases of cancer will be diagnosed in 2007.
