Draft Resolution <br />Attachment F <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VARIANCE BOARD OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 2°d day of July 2008 at <br />5:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />Variance Board Member <br />its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved <br />VB RESOLUTION NO. 80 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO §1004 (RESIDENCE <br />DISTRICTS) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PATTY AND TOM <br />SAGERT, 2730 SAINT ALBANS STREET (PF08-022) <br />WHEREAS, the Sagerts have requested a VARIANCE to § 1004 (Residence <br />Districts) of the Roseville City Code; and <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 2730 Saint Albans Street, and legally <br />described as: <br />KROISS LAKEVIEW ADDITION LOT 12 BLOCK 2 <br />PIN: 02-29-23-44-0014 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01 A(6) (Maximum Total Surface Area) limits <br />impervious surface area to 30% of a single-family residential lots, which allows up to <br />3,300 square feet on the property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Sagerts seek to construct a new accessory structure and driveway <br />that would increase the impervious surface area to 4,170 square feet, or 38% of the <br />property, requiring an 870-square-foot variance; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present <br />and support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City <br />Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to <br />APPROVE an 870-square-foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.O1A(6) of the City code, <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />a. The size and location of the proposed accessory structure and driveway shall <br />be consistent with the plans reviewed with the variance application as <br />Attachment E; <br />� Page 1 of 3 � <br />
