-r, EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VARIANCE BOARD OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 5`h day of November 2008 at 5:30 p.m. The following members were present: Variance Board Member its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved VB RESOLUTION NO. 85 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO §1004 (RESIDENCE DISTRICTS) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR STEVEN AND MICHELLE ANDERSON, 1768 SHOREWOOD CURVE (PF08-043) WHEREAS, the Andersons have requested a vARtANCE to § 1004 (Residence Districts) of the Roseville City Code; and WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 1768 Shorewood Curve, and legally described as: SHOREWOOD W 30 FT OF LOT 2 AND ALL OF LOT 3 BLOCK 3 PIN: 04-29-23-12-0059 WHEREAS, Section 1004.016 (Residental Setbacks) requires a principal structure setback of 30 feet from the front property line; and WHEREAS, the Andersons seek to construct a covered front entryway extending to 24 feet from the front property line, requiring a 6-foot VARIANCE; and WHEREAS, the Variance Board has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to approve a 6-foot vAR1aNCE to Section 1004.016 of the City code, subject to the following conditions: a. The size and location of the proposed covered front entry shall be consistent with the plans reviewed with this application as Attachments E and F. Footings that support roof shall not be more than 6 feet in front of the foundation of the home at its closest point to the front property line and shall not be closer than 24 feet from the property line; and Page 1 of 3
