-r, <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VARIANCE BOARD OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 5`h day of November <br />2008 at 5:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />Variance Board Member <br />its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved <br />VB RESOLUTION NO. 85 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO §1004 (RESIDENCE <br />DISTRICTS) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR STEVEN AND <br />MICHELLE ANDERSON, 1768 SHOREWOOD CURVE (PF08-043) <br />WHEREAS, the Andersons have requested a vARtANCE to § 1004 (Residence <br />Districts) of the Roseville City Code; and <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 1768 Shorewood Curve, and legally <br />described as: <br />SHOREWOOD W 30 FT OF LOT 2 AND ALL OF LOT 3 BLOCK 3 <br />PIN: 04-29-23-12-0059 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.016 (Residental Setbacks) requires a principal <br />structure setback of 30 feet from the front property line; and <br />WHEREAS, the Andersons seek to construct a covered front entryway extending <br />to 24 feet from the front property line, requiring a 6-foot VARIANCE; and <br />WHEREAS, the Variance Board has concluded that "hardships" are present and <br />support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to <br />approve a 6-foot vAR1aNCE to Section 1004.016 of the City code, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />a. The size and location of the proposed covered front entry shall be consistent <br />with the plans reviewed with this application as Attachments E and F. <br />Footings that support roof shall not be more than 6 feet in front of the <br />foundation of the home at its closest point to the front property line and shall <br />not be closer than 24 feet from the property line; and <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
