Of course you've also submitted an application for a vacation of the Dale Street and Alta Vista
Drive rights-of-way (ROW). The Public Works Department remains open to the possibility of
ROW vacations, but Department staff lacks the time to pursue the issue with Ramsey County.
While the vacation requests would require additional time and effort from you, your work may
well be fi-uitful; please let me know whether you'd like to continue to seek the ROW vacations
(and I'll help you find out who you should start talking with at Ramsey County), or whether
you'd prefer to withdraw the vacation application for the present time.
As we've talked about on the phone, the timing of your application makes it necessary to extend
the timeline in which the City must act on your applications. Although the official extended
deadline for approving or denying your applications would be August 8, 2008, we intend to bring
your application to the Planning Commission at their June 4th meeting and then to the City
Council for final action on June 30, 2008.
And finally, your "Notice of Land Use Application" signs are to be posted on the property by
May 24; I will have them ready for you to pick up at the Community Development counter any
time during the week of May 19-23.
Should you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to call me at 651-792-7073.
Sincerely,
CITY OF ROSEVILLE
Bryan Lloyd
Associate Planner
City of Roseville Community Development Department
2G60 Ci-ic Center Drive ❖ Roseville, Minnesota 551 13
651-79?SI% ❖ "IDD 651-792-7399 ❖ vvUw.ci.rscn.us
