December 11, 2009
Ms. Ruth Fave
2680 Victoria Street
Roseville, MN 55113
Re: 2680 Victoria Street - Permit # 2008-3246
Dear Ms. Fave;

It has come to the attention of the City that the driveway expansion you completed in 2008
was actually installed beyond your south property line and onto the adjacent property at 2674
Victoria Street. This was identified from a copy of a recent survey of your property, provided
to this office. This situation constitutes a violation of both the driveway permit and Roseville's
Zoning Ordinance (Section 1018.OS.C.9), which requires driveways to be set back from side
property lines by 5'.
The City is requesting that you remove that portion of asphalt that is over the property line and
within 5' of your south property line. Given that winter conditions make removal at this time
impossible, the City is requesting that you complete this removal before June 15th, of 2010.
Areas where asphalt is removed should be re-vegetated.
Ms. Fave, while the zoning ordinance does specify a 5' setback for driveways, there may be
options available to you for having your driveway closer to the side property line. For an
explanation of these options, please contact Assistant City Planner Bryan Lloyd at 651-792-
7073.
If you dispute the findings of this letter, have any questions, or, would simply like to discuss
this matter further, please call me at 651-792-7081.
Sincerely,
Don Munson
Codes Coordinator, City of Roseville
Cc: File
