I am forwarding this sketch as required by
resolution 10694 approving the interim use of the building as temporary library space.
The locations of the recycle and trash containers are in the most logical locations. The Library will work with
the City if any problems arise from those locations in the future.
Two locations for the drop box were considered, the one shown and one directly across the drive on the curb.
One location would suggest the traffic come around the north end of the building and the other around the
south end. If the location were proposed across the drive, the box would have had to be located on and
behind the curd to keep it out of the fire lane. That would make emptying the box difficult and winter staff
access inconvenient. We chose the suggested location because it allowed level access to pull the inside cart
out, has easier staff access in the winter when the drive may not be well plowed and better night lighting from
the building security light.
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the above.
,,
 ; -t;: _
Fred Shank
Ramsey County Property Management
,
Minnesota's First Home Rule County
print,rd on recyrled paper with a minimum of 10% poshconswnrr content
