This neighborhood news-
letter is still evolving. We
are attempting to cover
development news of sig-
nificance to each of our
neighborhoods in SW
Roseville, in a fair and bal-
anced manner within our
perspective of neighbor-
hood empowerment. Our
goal, as s[ated on the first
page, remains
'Neighborhoods:Informed,
Educa[ed, Heard!'
We share a desire to let
residents speak for them-
selves, and welcome all
SW Roseville residents to
join us in this effort. On
controversial issues we
seek common ground, not
the lowest common de-
nominator.
We welcome contributions
of time and money, since
neighborhood distribution
is critical to achieving our
goal, and our format and
color production cos[s are
significant.
Call or e-mail us at ggre-
fenberg@comcast.net. Given the huge environmental
impact to our neighborhoods from the manufacturing, hauling, and crushing of
asphalt, our city government's effort to slip this approval 'under the radar' with-
out fully notifying the entire area or making any attempt at environmental re-
view to protect the health and safety of the residents and the environment is
unconscionable.
Citv of Roseville Announcement
Two days after the Council meeting Roseville's Department of Community Developmen[ an-
nounced tha[ it was posting a new web page for the Asphalt Plant project on the city's web
site: www.ci.roseville,mn.us, then dick on Departments, go to Community Development, then
click on Proposed Developmen[.
