A#4: I indicated that there w's not any intention to enclose t•equipment with a fence and
that the pole and cabinet would utilize as much of the natural ground space as possible. It
was not the intention to build a fenced yard and fill it in with gravel. I did state that if
the commission was to require some screening or replacement of shrubs that this should be
included as part of the conditional use permit. (I recommend that perhaps we require a$5,000
payment for replacing trees and adding shrubs as part of the CUP). I also noted that the
ground simulation provided was only to depict the width of the cabinet relative (3') to the
width of the pole (4') and the distance between nthe two objects. The phot was not to depict
the surrounding ground area.
Q#5: It was commented that there are higher places in the park and perhaps using the hill to
the south would reduce the size of the pole.
A#5: There wasn't much comment on this other than explaining that the intent was to remain as
close to the pathway as possible to minimize disruptions in extending power to the site.
(Note that moving to a higher elevation in the park only reduces the pole length less than
20' however the ground elevation would be the same. So the visual height of the pole above
the tree line would be identical).
Terre Heiser
Network Manager
Metro-INET Roseville
network.manaer@metro-inet.us
651-792-7092
Confidentiality Statement: The documents accompanying this transmission contain confidential
information that is legally privileged.
