These specifications define the service standards, specifications and proposal <br />requirements of the Comprehensive Recycling Program for the City of <br />Roseville. <br />For the purpose of these specifications, the City of Roseville has identified <br />9,611 Residential Dwelling Units, defined as single-family households, <br />duplexes, triplexes, four-plexes and townhomes. These units will be serviced <br />as Residential Dwelling Units (RDU), as specified herein. The City has <br />identified 6,076 Multi-family Dwelling Units (MDU) as detailed in Exhibit <br />B, defined as units in 5 or more unit buildings or mobile home parks. These <br />units will be serviced as multi-units, as specified herein. <br />2. CONTRACTOR SELECTION PROCESS AND SCHEDULE <br />To the best of its ability, the City will use the following process and <br />schedule for its decision-making: <br />Event Date/Time <br />RFP Issued July 3, 2013 <br />Mandatory <br /> Pre-proposal Meeting July 16, 2013 <br />Questions Regarding RFP to be Submitted July 19 at 4:00 p.m. <br />References Submitted July 19 at 4:00 p.m. <br />Notification of Intent Submitted July 19 at 4:00 p.m. <br />Answers to Questions Issued July 24 by 4:00 p.m. <br />Proposals Due July 31 at 4:00 p.m. <br />Interviews of Finalists Week of August 12 <br />Council Meeting to Authorize Contract August 26, 2013 <br />Negotiations <br />These dates are subject to change as the City deems necessary. <br />2.01 <br />. All contact by prospective Contractors and their agents about the <br />City’s RFP and procurement decision-making must only be made <br />with the City’s designated contact person, Kari Collins. Prospective <br />Contractors are encouraged to contact Ms. Collins with questions or <br />requests for more information. <br />2.02. <br /> Contractors are required to attend the pre-proposal meeting at 1:00 <br />p.m. CDT on July 16 at Roseville City Hall. Proposals from <br />Contractors that do not attend the meeting will not be considered. <br />2.03 <br />.
