licensees from all liability related to hazardous <br />contamination/pollution resulting from the acts of the City, its <br />employees or agents. <br />A 30-day written notice is required if the policy is canceled, not <br />renewed or materially changed. <br />The Contractor shall require any of its subcontractors, if sub- <br />contracting is allowable under this contact, to comply with these <br />provisions. <br />9.02. Workers Compensation <br /> The Contractor shall provide evidence of Workers Compensation <br />insurance covering all employees of the Contractor and <br />subcontractors engaged in the performance of the Contract, in <br />accordance with the Minnesota Workers Compensation Law. <br />9.03. Employee Working Conditions and Respondent's Safety <br />Procedures <br />The Contractor will ensure adequate working conditions and safety <br />procedures are in place to comply with all applicable federal, state <br />and local laws and regulations. The City reserves the right to inspect <br />on a random basis all trucks, equipment, facilities, working <br />conditions, training manuals, records of claims for Worker's <br />Compensation or safety violations and standard operating procedures <br />documents. <br />9.04. Equal Opportunity <br /> During the performance of the executed contract, the Contractor, in <br />compliance with Executive Order 11246, as amended by Executive <br />Order 11375 and Department of Labor Regulations 41CFR, Part 60, <br />shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for <br />employment because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. <br />The Contractor shall take affirmative action to insure that applicants <br />for employment are qualified, and that employees are treated during <br />employment, without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, or <br />national origin. <br />Such prohibition against discrimination shall include, but not be <br />limited to, the following: employment, upgrading, demotion or <br />39 <br /> <br />
