i � <br />AGREEMENT. <br />5.6. Obtain at its sole expense and provide to the AUTHORITY within six <br />months after the close of its fiscal year a certified financial and compliance <br />audit prepared by an independent auditor who meets the independence <br />standards specified in the General Accounting Office's yellow book, <br />"Government Auditing Standards". GRANTEE shall submit a copy of the <br />annual financial audited statements, the management compliance letter, <br />arid the GRANTEE's response to the management letter to the <br />AUTHORITY within six months of the end of the GRANTEE's fiscal <br />year. <br />5.7. Conduct the same general type of business as it presently conducts; <br />maintain its existence, and continue its compliance with all valid, <br />applicable statutes, laws, rules and regulations. <br />5.8. In order to permit AUTHORITY to monitor compliance with this GRANT <br />AGREEMENT, permit any person that the AUTHORITY designates, at <br />AUTHORITY's expense, to visit and inspect the PROJECT, corporate <br />books and financial records and documents of GRANTEE and to discuss <br />their affairs, finances and accounts with the principal officers of <br />GRANTEE, all at such reasonable times and as often as AUTHORITY <br />may reasonably request during the term of this GRANT AGREEMENT <br />and for a period of six years after the termination of this GRANT <br />AGREEMENT. <br />5.9. In awarding contracts pursuant to this GRANT AGREEMENT, comply <br />with all applicable requirements of local and state law for awarding <br />contracts, including, but not limited to, procedures for competitive <br />bidding, contractor's bonds, and retained percentages. Where federal <br />standards differ from local or state standards, the stricter standards shall <br />apply. <br />5.10. Comply with all federal, state and local laws prohibiting discrimination on <br />the basis of age, sex, marital status, race, creed, color, national origin or <br />the presence of any sensory, mental or physical handicap, or any other <br />basis now or hereafter prohibited by law. <br />5.11. Include in all solicitations for work on the PROJECT, a statement that all <br />qualified applicants will be considered for employment. The words "Equal <br />Opportunity Employer" in advertisements shall constitute compliance with <br />this section. <br />5.12. Not discriminate, or allow any contractor, subcontractor, union or vender <br />engaged in any activity in connection with the PROJECT to discriminate <br />Page -6- <br />
