� <br />l�� <br />� <br />�� <br />January �2010 <br />Rick Bell <br />2458 Chatsworth Ct. <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br />RE: Administrative Deviation approval <br />Dear Mr. Bell, <br />n <br />u <br />As you know, your Administrative Deviation request to accommodate your proposed residential <br />addition was reviewed �esterday in a meeting at City Hall. <br />iv���� y_I` <br />The review committee found that the proposal will not have any adverse impacts on the factors <br />identified for consideration in Section 1013.05 of the City Code and consequently recommended <br />approval of the Administrative Deviation allowing the proposed garage addition to encroach into <br />the required setback. Based on our discussion at the January 7th review meeting and your <br />preceding conversation with your neighbor, Mr. Elholm, your garage addition is allowed to be as <br />close as 3 feet from the side property line; the front of the northernmost section of the garage <br />addition (with the 10-foot-tall overhead door) would be at about 33'/2 feet from the front property <br />line (matching the existing setback of the southernmost portion of your home), and the remainder <br />of the garage addition (with the 7-foot overhead door) would extend approximately another two <br />feet toward the front property line. The review committee further recommended that a gutter be <br />installed along the northern eave to direct rain water runoff toward the front yard, rather than <br />draining off of the roof toward the side property line. <br />I concur with the committee's recommendation and have approved the requested Administrative <br />Deviation with the condition that a gutter be installed as described above.
