� <br />Conditional Use Application <br />� <br />Clearwire communication facility on the roof of Roseville Professional Center, <br />Z233 North Hamline <br />Statement of Intent: <br />The Applicant will construct a communication installation for it's WiMax network. <br />The installation will consist of three 42 " panel antenna, two of which will be <br />installed on the exterior wall of the penthouse. These will not extend above the roof <br />line of the penthouse. A third panel antenna near the NE corner of the penthouse <br />will be installed on the corner of the penthouse roof. The top of the 42 " panel will <br />extend approximately 6' above the penthouse roof line. This higher installation for <br />the third panel is necessary to allow it to properly send and receive a signal over the <br />top of the existing cellular carrier's installation. One or two microwave dishes, 26" <br />in diameter will also be installed on the exterior of penthouse wall. The equipment <br />cabinet will be installed inside the penthouse and will not be visible from the <br />exterior. <br />Currently there is a significantly larger cellular installation, mostly located on the <br />eastern end of the office roo£ As part of this same cellular providers installation <br />there is a three panel antenna array above the penthouse roof line on the south <br />western corner of the penthouse. This installation is highly visible. In contrast all <br />but one of Clearwire's antenna appear as flush mounts on the penthouse wall that is <br />set back from the building exterior over 15 from the edge, minimizing the visual <br />impact. <br />Other required application yuestions: <br />1) Impact of the proposed on traffic; none <br />2) Impact of the proposed use on parks, streets and other public facilities; none <br />3) Compatibility of the proposed site plan, internal traffic circulation, <br />landscaping, and structures with contiguous properties; NA <br />4) Impact of the propose use on the market value of the contiguous properties; <br />none <br />5) Impact of the proposed use on the public health, safety, and general welfare; <br />none <br />6) Compatibility of the propose use with the City's comprehensive plan; <br />consistent. <br />
