. <br />• <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to APPROVE <br />the installation of telecommunication equipment at 2489-2499 Rice Street as a CONDITIONAL <br />USE in accordance with Section § 1014.01 of the Roseville City Code, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />a. The landscape screening from the residential properties to the west shall be <br />situated generally as proposed, relative to the telecommunication equipment. The <br />applicant shall work with staff to arrange the line of planted cypresses to ensure <br />that the facility is screened from the residences to the west and, to the extent <br />practicable, from Rice Street; <br />b. Any future ground equipment shall be screened consistent with the zoning <br />requirements in effect at that time; <br />The top of the proposed monopole tower shall not be higher than 125 feet above <br />the grade at the base of the structure; <br />d. The monopole and all ground equipment shall be painted or otherwise colored to <br />blend with the surroundings as much as possible; <br />e. Any wiring serving the equipment shall be buried; <br />f. External lights (i.e., those not integral to the equipment itsel� shall not be <br />installed on the tower or equipment; and <br />g. Prior to installing equipment, all service providers shall submit documentation <br />demonstrating that the telecommunication equipment will operate within the <br />technical requirements of the Federal Communications Commission. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Johnson, Pust, <br />Roe, and Klausing; <br />and Ihlan voted against. <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
