• (D - Administrative Ticket Letter)
•

Dear

Specifically, you were notified of:
Case #
you were notified that your property, located at
has been out of compliance with Roseville's City Code.
(a violation of City Code ).
(a violation of City Code ).
(a violation of City Code ).
You were requested to bring the property into compliance within certain specified time
frames. However, it appears of the violations identified above have been
corrected.
Mr./Ms. , your property has been found to be in violation of
Roseville's City Code. You have been advised of steps necessary to bring the property
into compliance; however, you have not made the required corrections. The next step in
the enforcement process is for the City to initiate a Ramsey County Court Citation. This
action raises the violations to misdemeanor offenses, a maximum of a$700 fine or
imprisonment not to exceed 90 days; and the case is referred to the Ramsey County Court
system. Both you and the City of Roseville would be required to go before a Ramsey
County judge who would hear the case. This can be an expensive, time-consuming
process for both parties which we wish to avoid.
As an alternative to criminal proceedings, the City offers the Administrative Offense
process. This is intended to provide the public and the City with an informal, cost
• effective and expeditious alternative to criminal charges for violations of certain
ordinance provisions.
2009 Seasonal Inspector Handbook
• Page 18
