z. <br />� • <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY �F ROSEVILLE <br />* <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 22nd day of July, 1996 at 6:30 P.M. <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Mastel, Goedeke, Wiski, Wall and the following <br />were absent: None. <br />Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLi7TION NO. 9312 <br />AMENDMENT TO THE ROSEVILLE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN REVISING THE <br />TEXT OF THE EXISTING PLAN ADOPTED IN 1979 AS AMENDED IN 1994 <br />WIiEREAS, the Planning Commission has adopted the recommendations and revisions to <br />the Comprehensive Guide Plan, after a public hearing held on July 10,1996; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville City Council approved and adopted the 1994 amendments <br />(and appendices and adoptions by reference) to the City of Roseville Comprehensive Guide Plan, <br />subject to review and comments of the plan by the Metropolitan Council, <br />WHEREAS, the approved and adopted 1994 amendments to the City of Roseville <br />Comprehensive Guide Plan designated certain areas of the community as appropriate azeas for study <br />and development of a master land use design buffer plan; and <br />WI�REAS, the Planning Commission has adopted an arnendment to the City of Roseville <br />Comprehensive Guide Plan to include a�� Pl�p�t", after a public hearing held on July <br />10, 1996; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has studied and recommended prototype screening <br />and buffers within an area bounded by County Road C, �Iamline Avenue, Rose Place, and Snelling <br />Avenue. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville City Council hereby <br />approves and adopts an amendment to the City of Roseville Comprehensive Guide Plan subject to <br />review and comment of the plan by the Metropolitan Council which: <br />1) includes a"Master Buffer Plan" as a standard set of screening and buffer measures and <br />implementation strategies to guide projects throughout the City. <br />2) Incorporate prototype screening and buffers along the common east-west property line <br />pazcels and platted lots within an area bounded by County Road C, Hamline Avenue, Rose <br />Place, and Snelling Avenue. <br />
