u June 9, 2010 Dear Ms. La Fave, C� �� , � Your neighbors at 934 Woodhill Drive (i.e., the North Suburban Cable Commission) and 2674 & 2686 Victoria Street will receive a copy of the letter below notifying them of your plans to achieve a 2-foot driveway setback from the southern side property line (which requires approval as an encroachment into the required setback), and inviting them to participate in the public process of commenting on your proposal. In case you haven't already spoken with each of these neighbors about your plans, we encourage applicants to do so. If we receive letters, phone calls, or emails from each of these property owners in support of your proposal, the required 10-day appeal period following the decision of the Community Development Director will be eliminated; if the Administrative Deviation is approved, the building inspector may then issue the necessary permit as soon as it has been approved. You are welcome to attend the hearing, but attendance is not necessary. You are invited to attend and participate in an Administrative Deviation hearing on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the Roseville City Hall Hawthorne Room—in the lower level, adjacent to the Engineering Department. Ann La Fave, 2680 Victoria Street, seeks approval of a deviation to the required setback from a side property line to allow the existing driveway to be modified such that it would remain 2 feet from the side property line, which is a 3-foot encroachment into the required 5-foot driveway setback. The enclosed site plan illustrates the proposed driveway changes. The Administrative Deviation process allows nearby property owners to comment on the proposal verbally, in writing, and/or at the meeting.
