Attn: Steven Dorff 24 University Avenue NE, #200 Minneapolis, MN 55413-2480 RE: 2295 Walnut Street interim use amendment application Dear Mr. Dorff, • According to Minnesota Statute 15.99, Roseville has until December 6, 2010 to take formal action based on the date of your application, but because City Council meeting agendas cannot accommodate your request before the end of the year, your application will not be approved or denied by the December 6`h deadline. To deal with a situation like this, Minnesota Statute 15.99 also allows the City one opportunity to extend for an additional 60 days the time allowed for final action approving or denying requests. The intent of this letter is to notify you that the time limit for final action on the proposed interim use is being extended. While Roseville now has until February 4, 2011 to finally approve or deny the application, the City has no interest in the process lasting longer than necessary, and we will make every reasonable effort to achieve a resolution of the application as quickly as possible. We expect to bring the proposed interim use to the City Council at its meeting on January 10, 2011 for the required action; if this meeting date is unavailable, the latest possible date will be January 24`h. Plan for the January 10`�' meeting, but if we are pushed back to the later date you can expect to receive confirmation from me.
