� Draft Resolution • Attachment E <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VARIANCE BOARD OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 5`h day of December, <br />2007, at 5:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />Variance Board Member <br />adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />VB RESOLUTION NO. 74 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO §1004 (RESIDENCE <br />DISTRICTS) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PETER ZELLER, 1773 <br />ALAMEDA STREET (PF07-067) <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Zeller has requested a VARIANCE to § 1004 (Residence <br />Districts); and <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 1773 Alameda Street, and is legally <br />described as: <br />OAK VALLEY OUTLOT A IN SWEENEY SOUTHVIEW HEIGHTS & IN SAID <br />OAK VALLEY LOT 4 BLOCK 2 <br />PIN: 14-29-23-44-0097 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01 E(Pre-existing Setbacks) of the City Code requires <br />a 29-foot setback from a front property line for the attached garage on this property; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Zeller seeks to construct a principal structure addition 18 feet <br />from the front property line, requiring an 11-foot variance; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present <br />and support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City <br />Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to <br />APPROVE an 11-foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.O1E of the City Code, subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. The size and location of the proposed addition shall be consistent with the <br />plans reviewed with this application and shall not be less than 18 feet from the <br />front property line; and <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
