•
Bryan Lloyd
From: Dean Findell
Sent: Wednesday, June 30, 2010 2:23 PM
To: Bryan Lloyd
Subject: RE: 2060 Chatsworth Ct.
Bryan.
•
I performed a rain garden inspection on this site today (6-30-2010). I had delayed the
inspection due to rainfall not allowing the rain garden to dry up. It is now dry.
Measurements show it is at least the required design size. The rain garden is at least 4'
away from the catch basin and there is a berm between as specified. The seeds have not yet
sprouted due to the rainfall since seeding. My inspection show that it is constructed as
designed. If you have any questions please let me know. The approved plans are attached for your
rence, and Deb's final comments were that: it is important that the edge of the
tructed rain garden is at least 4 feet from the drain and that the rain garden is
=ructed in such a way that there is a berm between the drain and the garden, so that it
le to infiltrate the required volume of water.
e the 7acobus' were running up against their installation deadline, they didn't have
wait for the plant material "plugs", so they told me that they had the appropriate
lanted instead. The homeowners would like to be around when you inspect the rain
in case there are any issues they need to be aware of (and, I'm sure, to stick you
sive-aggressive barbs, as seems to be their habit), so they'd appreciate it if you'd
arrange an inspection time. Their phone number is 763-571-7576
ean!
d
=ity Planner
eville
3
ci.roseville.mn.us
1
