Greenfield (tagreenfield@rottlundhomes.com)
Subject: more
Hello--
My daughter and husband were walking in Langton Lake Park today (Sunday) and saw 2 rather large signs on Cry. Rd. C-2 on
each end of the entrance to the park. I believe it is illegal to post signs on park property--correct?? The large sign said--"Our
walking path is about to be changed--for the worst. Please take the enclosed flyer." The flyer said----
"Dear Twin Lakes Group,
I wanted to let everyone know that the Twin Lakes developers are applying for an interim use permit to create a recycling area at
Cleveland and County Road C2(the Dorso site). This site is near Langton Lake and right across C2 from a wetland/pond. it is also
near surrounding residental neighborhoods to the north and east, although it does not appear that any homeowners are being
given notice of this proposal.
If you are concerned about the impact of a concrete recycling area on the lake, park, and neighborhoods(including noise, dust,
runoff or other pollution)please come to the Planning Commission meeting on Wed, May 3 at 6:30 and express your views. It is
important for people to attend and be heard---otherwise the city council will be told there is no public concern of opposition to this
plan.
Please let me know if you have any questions. A staff report on this proposal is supposed to be available online at
www.cityofroseville.com--planning commission meeting as of April 28.
Thanks,
Amy"
Neal
Neal Beets
Office: 651-792-7021
Mobile: 651-775-3556
Fax:651-792-7020
OS/O1/2006
