Message
Thomas Paschke
From: Neal Beets
Sent: Tuesday, May 02, 2006 3:31 PM
To: Theresa A. Greenfield (tagreenfield@rottlundhomes.com)
Cc: Thomas Paschke
Subject: FW: Twin Lakes demolition
Theresa, FYI, a message about reuse of materials at Twin Lakes. Since it went to the City Council, you may be asked about
reuse either at the Planning Commission or the City Council.
Neal
Neal Beets
Office: 651-792-7021
Mobile: 651-775-3556
Fax:651-792-7020
From: Margaret Driscoll
Sent: Tuesday, May 02, 2006 3:28 PM
To: Neal Beets
Subject: FW: Twin Lakes demolition
-----Original Message-----
From: Angela Robinson [mailto:arobinson@itcmed.com]
Sent: Tuesday, May 02, 2006 2:13 PM
To: *RVCouncil
Subject: Twin Lakes demolition
Dear Council Members,
I am writing concerning the demolition of the buildings in the Twin Lakes redevelopment area. I see that many are already vacant.
I was wondering what the plans were for demolition. I highly recommend reclamation of everything possible. Since many buildings
are standing empty, there is plenty of time to deconstruct them and salvage the materials for re-use. Here is a link to a local
operation that does this work. http://site.mawebcenters.com/thereusecenter/deconstructionsvcs.html
I just hate to think of all that material ending up in some landfill, or even in some road bed. It is better to re-use a brick as a brick
than to grind it up and make more bricks.
Sincerely,
Angie Robinson
1955 Hythe St.
Roseville
OS/03/2006
