Mo`�re, Inc. and Keller Williams Realty for FINAL PLAT <br />of Moore's McCarron's Preserve (PF07-64). <br />1 1.0 BACKGROUND: <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />1.1 On September 25, 2006, the Roseville City Council approved the PRELIMINARY and <br />FINAL PLAT, SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT VACATION, and STREET <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY VACATION for Moore's McCarron's Preserve, a replat of eight <br />existing legal lots of record located west of Woodruf Avenue and adjacent to Reservoir <br />Woods. <br />1.2 On October 9, 2006, the City Council approved the PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT <br />CONTRACT for Moore's McCarron's Preserve, which allowed for the construction of <br />public infrastructure improvements such, as watermain, sanitary sewer and the cul-de-sac <br />street. <br />1.3 In June 2007, the plat documents (mylar sheets) were submitted to the City and signed. <br />However, the County Surveyor rejected the plat mylars due to a recent change in the State <br />Platting Statute (505) pertaining to the size of the mylar sheet and the surveyor certificate. <br />2.0 STAFF COMMENT: <br />2.1 All lots meet the minimum requirements established in the City Code; the right-of-way <br />dedicated on this plat meets the minimum requirements prescribed in the City Code; and <br />all public infrastructure has been constructed. <br />3.0 <br />23 3.1 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 4.0 <br />31 4.1 <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Planning Division is of the opinion that the request to approve this FINAL PLAT is a <br />formality caused by a change in the State Platting Statute (505) pertaining to the size of <br />the mylar sheet and the language contained in the surveyor certificate and filing issues. <br />The City Planner recommends the City Council APPROVE Moore's McCarron's <br />Preserve Final Plat, allowing the City Manager and Mayor to sign the plat documents for <br />recording at Ramsey County. <br />SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: <br />BY MOTION, APPROVE the FINAL PLAT of Moore's McCarron's Preserve. <br />PF07-064 RCA FinalPiatReaffirmation_111907.doc Page 1 of 1 <br />
