2 3 ATTACHMENT � C — I DRAFT ORDINANCE 4 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO PROPERTY MAINTENANCE; AMENDING 5 THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE BY ADOPTING 6 WITHIN TITLE 9, SECTION 906 THE INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY 7 MAINTENANCE CODE, 2003 EDITION AND AMENDMENTS THERETO. The City Council of the City of Roseville does ordain: 9 SECTION 1: Title 9, Section 906 of the City Code is hereby named "Housing 10 Maintenance and Preservation" and amended to read as follows: 11 Section 906.01. Adoption. 12 There is hereby adopted by reference, the code referred to as the International Property 13 Maintenance Code, 2003 edition, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., 14 far the establishment of minimum acceptable standards for the maintenance of existing 15 building, structures, premises and facilities to protect health, safety and general welfare. 16 Each and all of the standards, regulations and requirements, save and except such 17 portions as are hereinafter deleted, amended or modified, as set about and specified in the 18 International Property Maintenance Code, 2003 edition, are hereby adopted, referred to, 19 incorparated and made a part hereof as if fully set out at length herein. 20 Not less than one copy of the said International Property Maintenance Code, 2003 21 edition, shall be on file in the office of the City Manager and open for public inspection at 22 all times. 23 Section 906.02. Conflicts and Interpretation. 24 In the event any provision of this article and any provision of the International Property 25 Maintenance Code, 2003 edition, conflicts with or is inconsistent in any manner with any 26 section of the Roseville City Code or other codes adopted by reference therein, or parts 27 thereof, the provisions of this article and the International Property Maintenance Code, 28 2003 edition, shall supersede and take precedence over such portion or portions in 29 conflict or inconsistent therewith.
