.-� <br />Fridley City Code Chapter 220 <br />52. Rodent Harborage. <br />Any place where rodents live, nest or seek shelter. <br />53. Rodent-Proof. <br />Section 220.60. <br />A condition where a structure or any part thereof is protected from rodent infestation by <br />eliminating ingress and egress openings such as cracks in walls and holes in screens. For the <br />purpose of this ordinance, the term "rodent-proof' shall be construed as though it included <br />"insect-proof' and "vermin-proof'. <br />54. Safe. <br />The condition of being free from danger and hazards which may cause accidents or disease. <br />� 5. Story. <br />That portion of a building included between the upper surface of any floor and the upper surface <br />of the next floor above it; if there is no tloor above it, the space between the floor and the ceiling <br />above it. A basement is a story for the purposes of height regulations if one-half (1/2) or more of <br />the basement height is above the level of the adjoining ground. <br />^ 56. Structure. <br />Anything constructed or erected which requires location on or under the ground or attached to <br />something having location on or under the ground. <br />57. Uniform Building Code (U.B.C.). <br />Shall mean the code published by the [nternational Conference of Building Officials, and any <br />materials referenced therein. <br />58. Unsafe. <br />As applied to a structure, a condition or combination of conditions which are dangerous or <br />hazardous to persons or property. <br />59. Unsanitary. <br />Conditions which are dangerous or hazardous to the health of persons. <br />60. Use. <br />The purpose for �vhicll land, a building, or structure is or is to be used or occupied, and shall <br />include the performance of such activity as defined by the perfonnance standards of this Chapter. <br />� <br />
