��� <br />�� <br />3 November 2006 <br />Joseph Linn <br />318 South McCarrons Boulevard <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br />RE: Front Yard Setback PermitApproval <br />Dear Mr. Linn: <br />On Thursday, November 2nd, 2006, the Roseville Development Review Committee reviewed <br />and recommended approval of a FRONT YARD SETBACK PERMIT to allow the <br />construction of a front porch which will encroach into the required front yard setback. <br />Comments Re�ardin� Issues at Hand: The applicants reviewed their plans with the immediate <br />neighbors, most of which signed prepared statements that they have no objections to the approval <br />of the requested setback permit. <br />Development Review Committee Recommendation: The Setback Permit Review Committee <br />attendees (Thomas Paschke, Don Munson, Jamie Radel, and John Stark) found that the proposal <br />( a 4-1/2 foot encroachment into the required 38 foot Front Yard Setback) does satisfy the <br />minimum number of applicable criteria for approving a Setback Permit as listed in § 1013.05 of <br />the City Code. The DRC therefore recommended issuance of the Setback Permit, conditioned on <br />the plan submitted for the building permit and an encroachment of no greater that 4-1/2 feet or to <br />a point 33-1/2 feet front the front property line.. <br />City Planner's Decision: I concur with the recommendations of the DRC to issue the Setback <br />Permit and, as allowed for in § 1013.05 of the City Code, make the DRC recommendations a <br />condition of approval. <br />Your Setback Permit will become effective immediately due to your neighbors indicating full <br />support of the proposed porch.
