<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Rose vi lie met in regular <br />session at the City Hall on Monday, the ninth day of August, 1999, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Wi ski, Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka & Wall and the <br />following members were absent: none. <br /> <br />Councilperson Goedeke introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9673 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASffiILITY REPORTS <br />AND SCHEDULING PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR <br />CITY PROJECT P-SW-99-14-LARPENTEUR A VENUE <br />RECONSTRUCTION AND STREETSCAPE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on November 23, 1998, the City Council directed staff to accelerate the <br />implementation of the federally funded Larpenteur Avenue project, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a feasibility report has been prepared and delivered to the City Council, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, <br />cost-effective, and feasible, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council ofthe City of Rose vi lie as follows: <br /> <br />1. The feasibility report including cost estimates has been submitted and considered by the <br />Council and are hereby approved and directed to be placed on file in the office of the City <br />Manager. The improvements proposed to be made in the general manner set forth in the <br />report are designated as Improvement P-SW-99-14 -- Larpenteur Avenue Reconstruction <br />and Streetscape. <br /> <br />2. That the Council shall meet at the City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, in said City, on <br />August 23, 1999 at 7: 15 p. m. for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed <br />improvements under and pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and <br />the Manager is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place, and <br />purpose ofthat meeting to be published twice in the official newspaper, Focus, which <br />publications shall be a week apart, and the second publication shall be not less than three <br />days before the date of the hearing. <br />
