8.0 SUGGESTED PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: <br />8.1 On August 2, 2006, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding <br />the Caribou Coffee request. The City Planner provided the background on the request <br />and approval recommendation to the Commission. The City Planner and City Engineer <br />provided additional clarity regarding proposed site improvements being sought by staff <br />through the conditions of approval. <br />8.2 The applicant was present to address the Commission; ask questions of staff; and provide <br />additional detail of the project. The applicant supported the staff recommendation with <br />the understanding that he would work with staff on an appropriate plan for submittal to be <br />approved. <br />8.3 The Planning Commission voted 6-0 to recommend approval of the request for a <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT to allow the installation of a drive-thru service window <br />at 1805 Snelling Avenue, in conjunction with a 2,644 Caribou Coffee subject to 8 <br />conditions <br />9.0 SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: <br />9.1 ADOPT a RESOLUTION APPROVING a CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT for <br />Caribou Coffee (Jeff Johnson) allowing the installation of a drive-thru window at 2115 <br />Snelling Avenue, based on the comments in Section 5, findings of Section 6, and the <br />conditions in Section 7 of the project report dated August 28, 2006. <br />Prepared by: City Planner Thomas Paschke 651-792-7074 <br />Attachments: base map, aerial photo, and narrative. <br />PF3782_RCA_082806 Page 6 of 6 <br />
